This life is short, follow whatever aspirations can give you a passion for it...Whether it be "psychology" or something else. Whatever it may be, find YOUR passion. While I appreciate you're wanting insight, you are the only one to be able to really appreciate what your passions are....

good for you. Your passion can only come from you Kevin. While I appreciate that you would want to have others acknowledge what you are searching for, the reality is this: find it first, be passionate about whatever "it" is - others will always support you because they'll recognize that passion. It doesn't always come easily. But, it is very personal to each one of us.

    From the website:

    Name Psychosocial Foundation
Category Personal Development and Career Development
    Duration Up to 12 Months
Description The course offers a reflective space and the opportunity to work on personal effectiveness, confidence, stamina, motivation, concentration, personal learning styles, stress management and self-awareness. The course is delivered through a wide range of creative activities, discussion groups and project work. Computer classes are available. Learners are facilitated in sampling the vocational courses in the College, in applying for courses elsewhere or for jobs in open employment.
Modules Induction, Wellness and Recovery, Self Advocacy and Active Citizenship, Learning Styles, Team Working, IT Skills, Vocational Exploration.

That sounds more like a personal development, personal growth sort of program than a course or program in psychology. It seems more about aiming to help you with motivation and general adjustment than teaching you about psychology.

Generally, an introductory course in psychology will try to give you an overview of what psychology is all about and what psychologists do.
