    It's been 7 days since......

    Hello Everyone:

Today is an anniversary of sorts for me - it's been 7 days of feeling fine. I haven't had any mood swings, I'm sleeping better and I have been getting things done that I have been putting off. This may not seem like much but for me, it hasn't happened in a long time. I'm even getting along with my sister!

The only 2 things different are the medication I am on (Dr. switched me from 225 mg. of Effexor XR to Prozac, 20 mg.) and participating in this forum.

I am not silly enough to think I am "cured" and that I won't have another "episode", but I am still counting days and I am happy with that.

You are quite right to maintain a balanced and realistic view of the future; however as your treatment continues you should experience more good days than bad days as time goes on.

As the illness recedes, you might even view the periodic bad days in a more positive light, knowing it is only temporary, and the good days will return soon.

Good to hear of your progress!

I am glad you are having good days! The good days are what keep me going. When I do have the bad days, I think of all the good days I have.

Glad you are doing so well!
