    Post Migraine Diary

If you have concluded that you are afflicted with migraine, or have been diagnosed with migraine, your best tool for helping your doctor evaluate your condition is to keep a migraine diary for a number of months.

The longer the period your doctor can see your migraine history, the better your treatment options can be selected.

Attached is a migraine diary which can be downloaded and printed to be completed by you and taken to your doctor.

    Re: Migraine Diary

I have never kept a diary per say but I do keep note of the frequency of the migraines.

I have noticed in the past couple months that I have only had 2. I am not sure what has changed but

    Re: Migraine Diary

I presume from your comment Robyn that this is an improvement for you, which is great!

It could be that you have identified your triggers, and you avoid them as much as possible.

My own migraine episodes have diminished in number and those I get have diminished in intensity, likely due to preventative therapy my doctor started last summer.

I kept diaries for two or three years when I was first diagnosed with migraine, which helped me get a pretty good picture of my own triggers, helping me to avoid as many as possible.
