What topics should we cover? What features should we add?

Looking for suggestions and topics, serious topics or fun stuff, you would like to see us cover or cover more at Psychlinks Forum.

In a similar vein, are there topics/forums you think could or should be deleted? or two or more topics that could be merged or combined?

    What features should we add?

What would make this forum more interesting or helpful for you?

Help us brainstorm on ways to continue our forum makeover.

Please reply here or, if you prefer, via private messaging.

An art therapy section would be interesting...

The question would be whether there is enough material to warrant its own forum.

For now, you could post anything you find in the general Therapy, Therapists, and Self-Help forum.

    Is a tab under a forum-a forum ?

Would you consider paring down the size of the Forum, to narrow its focus to, say, healthy lifestyle discussions, rather on the current focus on the various pathologies and disorders.

The current content could be made available as a "second tier" read only resource for people wishing to investigate further, or as an experiment, kept offline for a while, during which time, a new, improved, refreshed and simpler version of Psychlinks could feature discussions on positive lifestyle strategies.

My reasoning is to try to appeal to the tastes of today's internet market that tends to look for simplicity and ease of navigation.

You mean a subforum? That is a forum which is a subtopic of a larger topic.

That would change the entire focus of the forum though. It would probably be easier to start a new forum but I suspect there is already a fair bit of competition in that niche.

The general notion of simplifying and making the forums less "academic" and simpler, including the navigation, is something I'm continuing to explore, though, and perhaps there are forums or whole categories that would be better deleted - or two or more topics could be collapsed into one.

If we were to do that, where would you suggest we start? What topics could be deleted or merged?

    lol

    No, actually, I didn't.

Those items/links you see listed in a smaller size font below a main topic are subforums.

    Is that what you meant?

Yes, but if we call it a tab then it's not a forum.....
