    I'm more used to the "don't shoot yourself" and (like #2) "think of someone other than yourself" style of comment. Or describing exhibiting unpleasant emotions as "being weirdo".

    David, when this was first posted, I could not respond because it hurt. A clergyman told me that I needed to pray more. And whenever I feel out of sync, my husband will ask me if I took my meds. I finally came to the realization of regardless of how I truly feel, I am okay. I do not want folks feeling sorry for me. And, eventually, I will be okay.
