  1. Seeking Lobotomy Survivors, or their Family Members

If you or one of your family members survived a lobotomy, I would love to hear your first-hand story. I am making a film for PBS television (for the series American Experience) about Walter Freeman, the man who developed and promoted the lobotomy. There are many historians and authors who can tell us about when and where lobotomies were done, but no one other than survivors can tell us more truthfully what living with the results of this procedure is like. Please let me know if you would be willing to share your story. Thank you. ľKate Walker email:
