    Angry vs. disappointed

    Hi everyone,

Its kind of funny how you learn and figure your self out in therapy. I have noticed that I have grow up knowing only anger and I'm trying and or working on "I'm disappointed" instead of "I'm angry" or other vulgar language And it seems very weird for me to say I'm disappointed. Anyway I thought that I would share that.

That's a very good point. It not only makes a difference for whoever you're saying it too - it also makes a difference to you and how you feel.

It's like saying "I don't like what you just said or did" instead of saying (and/or thinking) "I don't like you".

Good point. I should try that the next time I feel angry. Thanks. :-)
