when I am continually expressing suicidal thoughts and wishes? I battle constant suicidal thoughts and try to talk to him about them, but what if he just thinks I'm doing it for attention?

Maybe I am? How do I know what is a real thought and what is an OCD worry?

Re: How does my therapist take me seriously

Your therapist takes everything you say seriously but also knows what is and what is not OCD thinking Also he knows YOU CD that you love your children more then anything and would not harm them by leaving. If you ever get to the stage where your thoughts do become actions that is when YOU go in ok to hospital and get help hun

Try to realise that if you are worrying and obsessing about an idea in this way - these ideas about yourself that you would find awful, dusgusting, evil, or shameful - or how awful you would feel if a person 'knew' one of those things.....

....then it is very likely an OCD worry. :)

Try to think of it this way:
If you are OCD'ing about something, then that something is probably an OCD idea. :)

It is definitely very confusing though. :S xx
