I've got a patch of really bad hay fever at the moment.

My GP's put me on anti-histamines. Yesterday.
I'm not sure if it's them or PTSD stuff that's making me kind of distant and groggy. Lack of sleep also plays a part. Ugh.

It makes my nose stuffed up, completely blocked, and itchy.
My nose is sore from blowing it.

I guess it makes sense. My body is acutely sensitised to change and stress. The office where I work a day and a half a week has just moved. I'm going through complex and profound emotional shifts in psychotherapy.

I just don't feel good.

Re: shameless request for sympathy for hay fever

The "shameless request" part made me smile. :) I have allergies but not of the kind your talking about but I do sympathize with you. It may just be the medication that is making you feel groggy. Hope you get some relief soon.

i've never had full blown hay fever (at least, not that i know of) but i do know all about allergies and being stuffed up. it just plain sucks. so i sympathise as well. i hope you'll get some good sleep tonight. sleep really makes such a difference!

hang in there and i hope the grogginess wears off real soon.

Thanks.

It's really awful still. Worst when I just come in from being outside. :frown:

And it's making me really irritable.

I slept better last night. But woke up - again - with a very dry, blocked nose in the early hours.

It's making me feel more vulnerable than I do already.

I suppose it's a bit better. Just a bit.
