I read online that fanapt is used for schizophrenia. I have schizoaffective disorder and OCD. Does fanapt work mostly for the first one or the 2nd one?

I read that fanapt can cause death in senile people. I am 39. There are other deadly side effects for seniors on fanapt. Fanapt can cause diabetes which means I will have my blood sugar checked.

The potential complications extend far beyond the elderly and blood sugar. Is this medication being prescribed by your doctor?

Yes, it is being prescribed by my psychiatrist. What are the other dangers of using Fanapt?

Again, they are rare but serious side-effects when they occur. They include issues with increased heart rate and blood pressure and changes in immune system function, if I remember correctly.
