This is such a colossal waste of time. First the guy pled guilty so there wasn't going to be a trial. Thenhe changed his plea to not guilty so here we are at trial. His interpreter was 90 minutes late and another witness for the prosecution didn't show up so the police were sent to her home to get her. Now dude is in the hallway with his interpreter and lawyer discussing whether he should just enter a guilty plea.
I took two unpaid days off work for this and the Crown just told me if they even need me it won't be until 2pm. I have to text her at 12:15 tho and find out if he entered a guilty plea or not.

So he's still pleading not guilty but they don't need my testimony. He was offered 12 months in exchange for a guilty plea but he turned it down. Now he's looking at 24-36 months if found guilty.
