Another one of my questions.
If a person lives with (diagnosed) Paranoid Schizophrenia and Borderline and gets support and treatment, how much will the person change over the time? Will he or she be "normal" again, like she was before?

If the person has no memory of things she did, will this memories come back? How will she feel about the people she did things to, those things she maybe won't remember again but that others tell her she did. Will she even be able to at least like the people again she turned against?

How much change is possible during a treatment?

First, I really don't like answering hypothetical questions because there are too many individual factors and typically I want to ask a couple of questions for clarification before I answer.

Second, there is a huge difference between Paranoid Schizophrenia and Borderline Personality Disorder in terms of the answer to the questions you ask.

So:

Who are we talking about here? Was the diagnosis paranoid schizophrenia or borderline personaility disorder? or did it start out as one and later the diagnosis was changed? What caused the loss of memory you mention? And what sort of treatment are we talking about here?

The diagnosis was both, Paranoid Schizophrenia as well as Borderline Personality Disorder.

I don't really know what kind of treatment she'll get, she is supposed to go to a clinic and we're waiting for her to do that since May '09. Of course she sees no need for it but if she won't go she will not get her children back to live with her.

I don't know what caused the loss of memory.

If she hit someone and was asked about it afterwards, about an hour later maybe, she didn't remember doing it. Either she couldn't remember or she didn't want to.

It is not easy to talk less abstract but I'll try to. The person I mean is my mother. What really worries me is that sometimes she said I was 'someone evil', she thought I did things to my sisters for example. Other times she did not remember saying that anymore and was just behaving normally towards me.

Which of these views on me will she keep?

How will she think of me, when she comes back? Will it be the good or the bad child she will remember?

The memory loss could be due to any one of several things. How she will view you after treatment depends on what treatment she receives, what medications she is on, etc. Also, the diagnoses may well change if she begins to see a psychiatrist or other mental health professional regularly.
