Who We Are
We are parents, friends and individuals who know the fear of living with a child suffering from an eating disorder. We believe that the treatment available in Canada is not enough and have joined together to create an intensive treatment center for adolescents. It is our belief that a safe secure facility is conducive to healing and strengthening the will to overcome this insidious disorder. Too many young people have already given up too much of their lives fighting this battle.

Our Mainfesto
When we look in the mirror, we see a true reflection of ourselves.

But for thousands of young women and men, the mirror has a darker side. Rather than a true reflection, theirs is a distorted reality. For them, the mirror is a window into a more sinister, shadowy world. A world where you can never be too thin, you can never measure up, and every meal is a battle.

For those who suffer from eating disorders, the mirror is a daily reminder of a world from which they cannot escape. They are trapped inside themselves by a disease that consumes and controls every aspect of their lives, every moment, every day. Anorexia Nervosa. Bulimia Nervosa. Eating disorders that torture the mind as they ravage the body.

It's not a choice they make. It's not a phase they're going through. It's a disease, as real and as deadly as any other, and like any serious medical condition, it needs serious attention to be cured.

We are not Doctors, but we can help. We're not a hospital but we help provide care. We help people on the path back to themselves. It's a long road but we know it well. We've already taken it ourselves, or with our children.

We believe no one should have to leave the country to receive care. That's why we are dedicated to creating Canada's first treatment facility for adolescents with eating disorders. Restoring health to the afflicted and hope to their families.

In partnership with the medical community, we are dedicated to helping young women and men get to the other side of eating disorders, returning them to a world where the image in the mirror matches the true one within.
