I bumped into Psychlinks while searching for information about Highly Sensitive People, of which I am one. I felt a great weight lift from my shoulders upon reading from the Forum here on this subject. I would like to join it, but am unsure how to navigate within this site.
I am fifty-two years old, a wife and mother of two teenage children. I am more creative than mathematical. I enjoy writing and drawing and arts & crafts, music, for example. I would like to pursue those interests at some point.
On the scale of introversion, I really don't think I could be any more introverted.
I have a long history of health issues: asthma, allergies, extreme migraines, sleep apnea, clinical depression, Reynaud's, periodic GERD, exzema (ewww) and endometriosis. A real barrel of monkeys! At times I have wondered if some of these, particularly those with an inflammatory component, are not linked somehow to my being an HSP.
Thank you for reading my introduction. Again, if someone could give me some specific pointers to the Forum for HSP's, I would be grateful. I am a technological idiot. :confusion:
