Many people don't realize that some generic drug prices in Ontario are far higher than most other places. The Ontario government has reduced most generic drug prices by at least 50% by eliminating professional allowances.
And, fairer generic drug prices are something that we need in Ontario. Not only will this new plan save us all some money, but I think it will lead to a stronger healthcare system as well.
