Recommended Reading?

I have a very long plane ride coming up this week, and I'm wondering if anyone has any good books they'd recommend. I like a variety of stuff...nothing sci fi or thriller...I like true crime, short stories, memoirs, etc...some of the recent books I've read (to give you an example)...

- The Story of Edgar Sawtelle
- The Shack
- Ann Rule (all her stuff)
- The Lovely Bones, Lucky, and the other one (forget it's name) by Alice Sebold
- Bathroom Reader Series (I have all of them)
- Still Alice

That gives you a bit of an idea of what I like...any suggestions??

No. But I would suggest a book on your vacation destination

Anne Rice had a well-researched novel that took place in old Italy:

But I haven't read it because I don't read fiction
