Risperdone qestions

I am taking 2mg. of risperidone for bipolar mood swings and for prevention of halucinations. I also have OVERWHELMING OCD obsessions which I am wondering, would increasing the 2mg. of risperidone for OCD help decrease OCD obsessive thoughts? I would NEVER stab anyone or overdose(which is what I obsess about constantly) but these thoughts are really persistent. What is the reccomended dose for OCD thoughts?
Keep in mind that I will visit my Psych doc in a few days and will be asking him questions.

Hey Been There,

I hope you can hang tight and check with your doctor in a few days who can answer this question for you. Your doctor might have some other options for you to help with the OCD thoughts, or may alter the dosage of your current medication, but either way, you should not make any changes to the prescribed dosage without first checking with him or her.
