‎"This footage was taken at Mallard Lakes subdivision in Baton Rouge. Someone had shot a Nutria (a beaver like rodent) and it was floating dead in the water. Wait until you see what this eagle did to bring that Nutria in."

A). I did not know eagles could swim.
B). I've never heard of a nutria. It sounds like a brand of dog food but in fact it's a rat/beaver like rodent that is indigenous to S. America but has found its way to Louisiana, probably as pets who were released. Although they are herbivores, they are destructive little pests but valued for their fur.
C). I didnt know I could learn so much about nutrias in such a short time.
D). That eagle is really determined. And smart. Good on him.
