Monday October 13, 2008 is Thanksgiving in Canada.

Thanksgiving in Canada is observed as a day for family and friends to get together, share a meal and to give thanks.

While there are sometimes difficulties and challenges in our lives, there is a lot to be thankful for as well.

We live in a Country which is free from war, where the climate is pretty good, and where we can live in relative comfort.

What are some of the specific things you can be thankful for this year?

My family around me for the first time in many years. Where I live. Money in the bank. Great friends... list could go on.
