Scientists Study What to Do If You Drop a Cookie or Baloney on the Floor

A study examining if the five second rule has any merit when a boloney sandwich is dropped on the floor, by researchers at Aston University in Birmingham, England.

Raised is the question, can a baloney sandwich be improved by the contamination found on the floor?:eek:mg:

The story is published in National Geographic and if you want to have a chuckle, read not only the article, but the comments that follow the story!..

This story has been published by numerous media outlets, that can be found by searching Google News for the "five second rule" for more laughs.

It may give you a valid excuse to throw out the sandwich and find something different to eat, so that's a win in my book.
