New, stunning 3D video from the Titanic wreck
by John Gushue, CBC News
Thursday September 9, 2010

The RMS Titanic Inc. expedition at the Titanic wreck site continues to dazzle. It?s using cutting-edge robotics and acoustic technology to produce three-dimensional video of the world?s most famous shipwreck.

This video was just posted.

You can follow the Woods Hole scientists and their colleagues on the official Twitter feed, right here. The Expedition Titanic website is also recommended.
You can read some of our recent coverage, too, with stories about the preparations, first images and even a wedding of expedition members.

Fabulous video! An interesting observation is that balcony cabins were not in use at the time of the Titanic, whereas today's cruise ships cannot pack enough of them into their design.
