Unwanted iGoogle Landing Page

Recently one of my systems now displays the iGoogle landing page when I want to visit Google

I did not knowingly make the choice to display iGoogle, and I cannot find any setting to disable it. The iGoogle landing page contains features I find unnecessary but most importantly I object to a change being made to my configuration without my approval.

Any suggestions on how the iGoogle page can be disabled and the usual Google page be displayed instead?

FYI the address bar of my browser shows Google so I am not being redirected to another page.

Found the solution

On the iGoogle page, top right is an nondescript icon for setting options, Select Classic Home.
