Who and Why

1. Church or international organization commited to helping the poorer children in 3rd world countries.

2. A local volunteer animal shelter attempting to find homes for abandoned mistreated animals.

The local animal shelter.
Because they wouldn't have the means for powerful ad campaigns . And animals don't have a lobby system.

Because it's local (I try and support local businesses and charities) and because their donor base is much smaller. And because I like animals more than children.

My first initial response was to give 5.00 to each charity. If i had to choose it would be to give it to third world country to feed the children i know what it is like be hungry. mary

The Local Animal Shelter, because its local you can see where its going and what its being used for. Alot of money given to these international places goes on Admin and not to the people who really need it.
