After all these years, I finally got around to looking it up: What the heck is Kwanzaa, you ask? See Kwanzaa - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Still, I wonder about a couple of things:

1. Does anyone really need or care about Kwanzaa?
2. Do we really need an extra Christmas to celebrate? Isn't one enough?

And does any one have the lyrics to "On the first day of Kwanzaa, my true love gave to me...:?

*I don't know a lot of people that celebrate Kwanzaa but there are a few families that do in the apartment building I live in. According to that Wikipedia in 2004 about 28-30 million people cared about Kwanzaa.
*We definitely don't need an extra Christmas! I'd say it's more like an extra Hanukkah(just in the "basic" similarities). :blush:
