I am scheduled to see my doctor next week to find an anti-depressant medication. I have tried many before and I don't do well with side effects as they have so many that interfere with your life or make things worse. Is there any that people are on or have taken that have low side effects and that they worked for them?

There have been some large scale studies of benefits and side-effects of antidepressant (SSRI/NSRI) medications that show it often does take a bit of trial and error but that most people are able to find one that works for them without intolerable side-effects by the second or third one they try.
