Bad Signs: Say what?

I'll admit to not be the sharpest nail in pack, but it took me a minute to figure it out. I couldn't figure out why they'd put "lol" on a sign...and then I figured out it was supposed to be their rendition of a person drowning. They could have given him hands, or a face...or something...I bet there arent' many rescues at that beach.
