She is done with the pigs. My baby is growing up. Her first collection was of beannie babies. She was two and three. She would get one, name it, all the tags had to come off. It would go everywhere with us for weeks and months. There was bear, rabbit, lamb, just to name a few. Then she would move from collectable to collectable. In third grade it was the typical webkin. Then in fourth grade when her friends started having crushes she started collecting everything pig. So now I have many piggy banks, pig posters, T shirts, key chains, she didn't get why her friends were into boys. I said someday you will just get it. Now she is doesn't like pigs. Now she is collecting pictures of boys in posters to decorate her room. She get's it. I still have the bear, the lamb, it helps me remember her then. She was precious. She still is I have to decide which pig I'm going to keep. It is bitersweet to watch them grow up and away. I love her so. I feel better saying so.
