The brain retrainer I use is called Roshi. It's a form of light therapy that re-entrains the brain via glasses with LED lights embedded in the lens and hooked to box that sends light patterns to the glasses. I watch the light show through closed eyes. It travels via the optic nerves to the brain and balances the hemispheres and electrical impulses of the mind. It is my feeling that FMS is caused by a trauma that the mind could not deal with and the mind went into the fight or flight pain loop. Roshi returns the mind to the balance it had prior to the trauma. I now sleep a normal night and have no problems reaching REM sleep and staying there. You can read more about it here
