Just saying Hi :) not quite sure how it all works ..so anyway, I guess I am here for support because I am really stressed out! I am a student and I am involved in too many things and every time I try and cut back I have trouble deciding who to let down. My friends are supportive but too busy because lots of them have jobs and school. I tried to go home for a break but my mom was so stressing that it was easier to go back to campus :rofl:..so anyway- just going to look around Im guessing, thanks :D

Hi Carly!

Welcome to Psychlinks. Hope you find some answers here on the Forum.

too many things and every time I try and cut back I have trouble deciding who to let down.

Having too many things on the agenda with too little time to accomplish then is indeed a source of stress. In your own best interests, you may want to make a "forced choice ranking" list, where you allocate a priority classification to each item on the To-Do list.

Some things are more important or more urgent than others, so tackle the task at the top of the list and work your way down the list one by one.

 Thank you Steve and that answer makes lots of sense but I guess figuring out what my priorities are should become a priority, maybe I procrastinate making that choice. I have a lot to figure out :panic:

Welcome Carly! I hope you take advantage of the resources mentioned and linked throughout the site.....and that you find this setting supportive and welcoming.
