Hi, Steph:

The term "comorbidity" simply means two conditions or disorders that coexist. For example, someone might be suffering from depression as well as anxiety. In that case, one might say that depression and anxiety are comorbid conditions for that individual.

I agree with you Dr. Baxter and this is also what my nursing books state.

I was reading on one website that a person posted that comorbity of diseases means that they are not related.

I find it sad that people will post information that is inaccurate especially since the accurate information is found in books or by asking someone.?

Also, the disclaimer for the websites state they are not responsible. It just bugs me.? Thanks Steph
