Here's my example: The Delta Queen, a paddle wheeler that was used to house Alcan construction workers in Kitimat, British Columbia, back when I was a boy. I got to spend time there with some of m,y father's friends. It was incredibly luxurious, actually. Looking back, I'm still amazed it was used as a construction camp. It was later sold and used as a cruise ship up and down the western coast of California.
