hello. have been studying this site for 18 months. excellent site and a source of great support and education. live in northern Ireland. am single and if i may say so, good looking. unfortunately have OCD spectrum disorder and have been through nearly all the obsessions, sex, violence, religion, contamination. currently on meds. have a very good basic knowledge of psychology. hobbies are talking to people, keeping fit, walking and cycling and having a few beers. i also like to visit Prague and Amsterdam every year. would describe myself as a very nice person. am not rotten or cruel.

thanks for replying. am finding it difficult to find myself around this site. which part of Europe are your family from? sexuality wise i am bi. which is why i like to go to Amsterdam a lot {edited}. anyways, i have a good education and knowledge base. i like Americans as people but i don't like the system. i am a fan of Noam Chomsky.. if i lived in America i would describe myself as Scotch-Irish.

G&S, a lot of people prefer a certain anonymity on a website like this one, which is why they are encouraged to use non-identifying member names, etc. You are free to divulge what you wish but it's probably better that you don't ask a lot of personal questions that might potentially invade the anonymity of other members, e.g., specific locations. As Daniel said, most of our members are from the US, Canada, and England, although we do have members from pretty much around the world.

Also note that I've just edited your last post above. We have some rather young members and you should therefore try to ensure that your posts conform to a "family-rated" environment.

hi. i live in northern ireland. i have ocd spectrum disorder, pure o. i have been seeing psychiatrists on and off for years and am on ssris. its my vew that i developed this disorder as a result of a traumatic childhood and a biological predisposition. i can say that i have been through all the standard obsessions that go with pure o. this past 6 years i have been the target of max cady style stalking and hostility from an ex work colleague. he continually humiliated me at work, insulted my parents name, menacing phone calls, derogatory storys, invasion of psyclogical boundaries, severely fractured my skull, stalked my brothers home, tells others he is going to smash my face in, got me sacked, etc etc. i realise this is bullying, however, it is a really extreme expereience, off the richter scale if you ask me. anybody have any opinion on this.

That is beyond extreme, especially for a grown adult.
Have you gone to the authorities about this guy?

Hi G & S. :)

That is very extreme. Based on the information you've provided, I would think that the authorities could help protect both you and your family. Maybe some kind of injunction where he has to stay away from all of you.

Have you considered talking to the authorities? Have you already done so?

thanks for the reply. no, i havent gone to the police. most things in the human world always occur in a social context, and this fello has a lot of peer group support for his actions. what amazes me is the intensity and scale of his hostility and the total lack of shame he has. people are far from nice in this old world. i was hoping for a kind of hannibal lechter type insight into this situation. but thanks anyway. is there anything wrong with ure head or life?

Other than just to stay away from him? :) Some people are just naturally nasty G & S. And, in my opinion, they feed off seeing reactions to their behaviours. So, I guess the best advice I could give you is to 1) stay away; 2) pay no heed to his threats &/or react in any way. :) I know, not much but, it has worked for me in the past...

is there anything wrong with ure head or life?

Well, I don't necessarily like the phraseology but, as many other people in this life time, I do have issues that I'm forever working on. ;) Right now, just getting my head to look forward again instead of looking at the past. :)
