Hello feeling bad,

My heart goes out to you; I am so sorry that you are feeling this way. I too was there for several months and I have finally been able to keep my head above water. I don't believe you are going crazy...You mentioned you are under a lot of stress and that you are not feeling well...that could be why you have these repetitive thoughts. I find that I dwell on things so much, that I continue to perpetuate these negative thoughts-essentially, I keep these thoughts alive.

You mentioned that you are taking several medications. Have these been prescribed to you by your doctor? Do you think maybe you should get a second opinion (on the medications you are taking)? Just a thought...I am nowhere near being qualified to give recommendations, however, these are just my personal thoughts/ideas.

Have you been seeing this councellor for a while? I was seeing someone who actually made me more anxious and depressed. I then knew it was time to look for someone else to speak to.

Also, I don't want to sound as though I am preaching, but you should try to eat small meals/snacks a few times a day. When I was at my worst, I couldn't even imagine eating. I had to force myself to eat, and because I had to do this, I only ate foods that did not involve a lot of preparation time. my doctor explained to me that what we eat can affect our moods and by not eating, our sugar levels become very unstable-more was said, however, I cannot recall it all.

When was the last time you felt okay? What has changed? You don't have to answer these questions to me if you don't feel comfortable...I am assuming that you always haven't felt the way you feel now?....

I wish you all the best. Please keep in touch.

FeelingBad,

I too think that your symptoms are most likely due to panic and anxiety, but I would suggest going to your Doctor just to get checked out, as a precaution, just to make sure that it is nothing physical like anaemia or thyroid problems. Take care:)
