I've joined because I've realised that all the difficulties in my life stem from one thing: the tendency to get too caught up in my thoughts, rather than deal with life.
I'm really interested in ACT. Have read a couple of the main books about ACT. Using that and some meditation I hope I can escape a difficult period of paranoia that's been around for the last year or so. I think paranoia comes when I get anxious. And I get most anxious when things are high stakes - it's actually the case that I've got more opportunities and good things in my life now than I've had for a very long time. But my paranoia puts me in danger of throwing it all away.
So as I can't afford a therapist as I'm studying full time, I have to find regular support to help me use ACT and meditation. So here I am.
