Hello,
My name is Sue and I am a Person-centred therapist in the North West of England in the UK. I practice from home where I have a dedicated office/counselling room. My private counselling service takes up about 2-3 days a week. About half of that time is spent with private clients and the other half with an Employee Assistance Progamme for employees of Royal Mail.
When I am not counselling I am usually researching and I am currently undertaking a PhD at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland where I am researching what people find helpful in therapy and the client/therapist relationship.
When I am not working I like to be at home with my family or go out with friends. I am married with two teenage sons and have a dog called Pepsi who is a Jack Russell/Whippet cross.
As you can imagine life is pretty busy at present but I do take time out for myself regularly.
May I say what a lively and interesting forum this is. I am really looking forward to engaging in some interesting discussions.
Regards
Sue
