More threads by luminous veil

Hello everyone. I come in peace, not to argue or hurt others. I am here to develop my self-help skills. I do not have expertise in this field (psychology), so I will try to avoid giving advice to others.

Just to clarify this before I begin here, I am determined to fix my own problems, as I have successfully done in the past, but I fully respect differing choices of others to seek professional help in their lives. I do not find the need for it, for myself. I hope that this view can be respected here. I do appreciate the kind of work Dr. Baxter does to help others. This forum is also great. :) There seem to be many intelligent and compassionate individuals here.

I have to say, I'm sometimes offensive without realizing it, due to my tendency to be rather blunt. My intent is not to harm, most of the time, anyway.
I am very interested in MBTI and similar theories, not that I intend to discuss those on this forum.
I'm also writing a short story at the moment. I have a whole bunch of concepts I want to include, but no plot, so it will probably never get done.
Oh, I thought I should add- I'm a 21 year old university student from Canada.

Thanks for having me :D. I hope I don't get on your nerves too much.

Everyone, thanks for the warm welcomes. I am glad to be here.

I prefer bluntness myself. Too bad people tend to confuse it with rudeness, or brevity with rudeness.
Thanks. I say "eh" sometimes, but not very frequently. The stereotype is overblown. I know people who I've never heard say "eh".

Thanks for the warning! (and insight)!
Don't worry :D. I'm not rude. I think people here tend to appreciate a straightforward manner, anyway, at least from what I've read in other threads from more long-term members.
