Hi my name is Liz and I am here to get answers to questions and learn how to deal with my anger and guilt of my daughters sexual abuse from her ex step dad. I really need questions answered so this doesn't happen to my other 2 children. I am a mother of 3 and am remarried to an awesome man who also has to deal with this and is very loving and understanding. Although my oldest daughter is 21 now, I need answers to questions to how I can get him put away for what he did to her.

Hi hun sorry to hear what happened unfortunately all you can do is report this abuse to authorities so at least there is a record of it The authorities will guide you how to get this scum off the streets. I think what is important is to get your daughter therapy to heal and to get help perhaps in adressing this assault with a professional who can guide her into what will be best for her to do. Just want to say hi hun and i do know what you are going through call the authorities okay get some advice from them hugs
Welcome, Lovingmom. I'm sorry to hear of this terrible situation. I think part of the answer to what can you do depends on where you live (I'm not asking you to divulge that, it's just something to consider). There may be statutes and laws depending how much time has passed. We will support you in any way we can but it sounds like some legal advice may be required as well.
