I am a mother, grandmother and wife. I have a nursing degree and worked in that field for 16 years. I am now working towards an accounting degree and have worked for the past 8 years in our family company. We own our on business, love to travel, spend time with family. I love to garden, we like red wine and spending weekends at our cabin on a beautiful lake.
It is a second marriage for both my husband and myself, we have 2 kids each a boy and a girl. ages 19, 24, 25, 29. 2 beautiful grand kids. My son's 3 year old little boy has been living with us for 2 years now. Hopefully he can remain with us. Both our daughters are getting married in the next 3 months, very exciting time for our family.
My son (29) has struggled with addiction and over the last 10 years he has also been dealing with mental illness. It's been a difficult road for him as well for us and his 2 young kids. Jason lost his battle 2 weeks ago, i feel as though my life will never be the same. In the end he decided what his destiny would be and now i have to accept that.
I came here because I had hoped i could find comfort at a time that seems to be standing still but also share my thoughts and experiences with those who also struggle to understand life's uncertainties
