Hotmail Unavailable?

I use Hotmail for specific types of email from senders about which I have security concerns.

The last two days I cannot access my email, although new email is listed. The following message appears when I try to view an email on Hotmail:

It looks like there's a problem with Windows Live Hotmail right now. It should be fixed soon, so please try again in a few minutes. Sorry for the inconvenience

Anyone else seeing this and know what is causing the problem?

It seems to be working fine for friends and family up here, Steve.

I've gotten that a couple of times in the last few days, but it seems ok now.

Here is the updated message provided by Hotmail this afternoon:

It looks like there's a problem with Windows Live Hotmail right now. We're working hard to fix it, but it may take a little while longer. If you'd like to find out more about this problem, read our support article. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Appears to be resolved as of this morning.
