I've started shopping for a new puppy. I'm thinking I'll get another American Eskimo. They are such fun, lively dogs and will hopefully allow me to get back into dog sports. My remaining dog, Jonah, has hip dysplasia and is 11 so he can't do much. I've emailed a few breeders with my ten million questions...hopefully I'll hear back. I'm not in a rush - I want the perfect dog for me.

I've always thought that breed looked cool Way too fluffy for Aussie summer heat though.

It *is* a lot of hair for sure, gooblax. But they stay surprisingly cool as long as you keep them brushed out so the air can flow through. I'm hoping to get one for July / August when I don't have school but I'm having a hard time finding one.
