As of three days, when I close IE7 I receive the Microsoft message
Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

My system is XP SP3, and IE ver. 7.0.5730.11

There have been no significant changes to my system, except for the installation of Norton Internet Security several weeks ago. There were no issues with IE until a couple of days ago.

I've tried clearing Temporary Internet Files, performed virus scans and have Windows Defender running.

Would you have any suggestions as to what I might do to correct this situation?
