Ken Wilber and Psychology

Hello,

I am curious to know what people's thoughts are on Ken Wilber and his approach towards psychology. Some people find him to be a bit egocentric (could be the picture of himself he posts on every book), but he seems to have done a monumental job of organizing different fields of thought and different industries.

Hi Elisha,

I had never read anything by Ken Wilbur so did a little search and read that he was involved in the time of the beginnings of transpersonal psychology which grew out of Humanism. I did not know that's how transpersonal psychology started.

I don't have time to read more than a skimming of the material. I read some introduction material written by him regarding science. I had the impression he was anti-science just from the bit I read. Is this the case?

Can you give a brief overview of his "integration" theory?
