I've talked before on this subject with mixed replies. As much as I would like to remain drug-free I am not. Once a month, under my psychiatrists supervision, we evaluate my state of mental health. He also checks my blood pressure and I will tell him any physical or mental side-effects of the medication I'm on at the time. The number one thing I've had issues with is a severe grogginess when I wake up even if I've had good night's sleep of around 8 hours.

I have always believed it is medication related and until I get my daily dose in my system I've dealt with my hangover every day the best I can.

Is this price I have to pay to function with medication to help me cope with my psychological disposition?

oh god, I had that same problem. I don't know what it is, but they can't expect a person to function on it. I had to stop taking my medication.
