For several reasons I am a late adopter of Microsoft Office, having been a Wordperfect/Quattro user for years.

MS Office 2007 is new to me, and I'm in the process of importing spreadsheets and other documents.

The application that puzzles me is One Note as to how it might be of use to me.

Have you had experience with One Note and in what ways have you used it?

Well, besides the obvious use for students taking notes, OneNote could help when creating a menu or workout plan because it's easy to include stuff from the web and organize things, such as by creating sections and subsections.

More examples, like organizing notes, Google Maps, and other info for a trip:

(However, for organizing academic research papers, I prefer Mendeley.)

So, One Note is like Evernote! I had experience with Evernote on another system, so with that knowledge, I can see if I can use it.

The descriptions included with the application describe features, but fail to describe how the features can be implemented for practical purposes.

Poor selling techniques by Microsoft copywriters....selling is describing the benefits and not the features...sell the sizzle, not the steak!
