A 16-year-old from Sweden went viral June 24 after his Minecraft recreation of "The Office's" Dunder Mifflin reached Reddit's front page. Oliver (Humpy123)
A 16-year-old Reddit user has recreated the entire Dunder Mifflin Scranton branch in Minecraft and you'll be afraid of how much you love it. Oliver, of Sweden, spent roughly a year turning "The Office" into a perfectly pixelated and fully searchable world. He shared his creation on Reddit's r/minecraft community June 24 where it collected nearly 40,000 votes.

"I had to build countless props pixel by pixel, and place them by hand. Though it was a very slow-moving project, I enjoyed every single moment of my work on it," Oliver told me. "Minecraft has been a huge part of my life since 2011, so once I started getting acquainted with the chisels and bits mod, which allowed me to add more detail into my builds, the idea for building the entire office came up."
"The Office," which first aired on NBC in March 2005, got the internet buzzing (and crying) this past week after NBCUniversal won an auction for the streaming rights to the show. This means the "The Office" will be moved to a to-be-named NBCU platform sometime in 2021.
In the meantime, Oliver is soaking up as much of "The Office" as he can.
"I think 'The Office' in the future will be regarded as a legendary show, which it already is by many die-hard fans. The style of humor that the office has is something that I think resonates with a lot of young people," he told me. "In the recent years I've been noticing that this style of humor is really starting to pick up pace and doing well with younger people. It's hard to describe the style of humor in words, but It's all over the place nowadays."
