I have been under stress all my waking life. I was never taught how to deal with it. I am seventy three and still have it. I do not remember any happy days. I am now thinking when I have a stress attack find out why I am having it, is it he present or the past. For whatever reason I challenge my mind as to the why's of the attack. My mind goes directly to negative thought. Now I am thinking logic and reason come into my mind. That's the only logic I know about. I have a very emotional mind which I do not understand why.
