In case you were not aware, you can use your airmiles to send funds to Japan to support them. Simply do a search on their site for "charity" reward and it comes up. Then for every 200 points you give it sends $25 to Japan and you get a tax receipt. It is easy and feels good if you collect points and aren't sure what to do with them.
I am sure that other reward systems (aeroplan, etc) have a similiar "reward" offerings.
