These heat domes are a new kind of weather pattern brought about by climate change. My friends up in Canada must have felt like nothing experienced before. A very serious issue that can't be controlled, only reacted to.

Every summer, I pet sit for a married couple who are firefighters for wildfires in Arizona, and they have never been so busy this summer. They have been going from one fire to the next. And I have never seen so much smoke either from distant wildfires.
