Things I Realized When I Was Sick

  • Tissues with lotion rock. But not for cleaning eyeglasses.
  • I can out-nap and out-sleep my cat.
  • Peeing when coughing or sneezing should be an Olympic event.
  • Dust collects in exponential degrees as if it knows you can't get to it.
  • Someone needs to invent a cold-side-of-the-pillow maker.
  • I like to do Karate moves while I fight to get well.
  • Expiration dates for medications should have alarms on them.
  • George Clooney did not visit me even though my delirium-fever said so.
  • There is no meal-maker fairy.
  • You're never too old to have someone tuck you in.

I can definitely relate to some of these since I have been sick, especially...
