Sometimes I subscribe to a thread that is particularly helpful to me. That way I can find it easier if I need to. I just wanted to share that. 
You can subscribe to a thread by going to that thread and clicking on thread tools and then "subscribe to thread."
There may be other ways to do that. I think you can automatically be subscribed to threads you reply to if you check that in your user cp.
Then you can find the thread by going to your user cp and going to "list subscriptions."
